RAY LEWINGTON says his Watford side will face determined opposition at Hillsborough tomorrow.

Opponents Sheffield Wednesday are in a sorry state and are fighting for survival, almost cut adrift at the bottom of Division One.

Lewington said: "I think Wednesday have to win all their matches.

That's how important this game is for them.

"They may get away with five or six wins but realistically they know that the teams above them will reach 50 points and they've got a long way to go to get that. So they know they've got to win this game."

Watford, who have an FA Cup semi-final against Southampton on 13 April, also want to reach 50 points but their league form has been in decline and Lewington admits it is beginning to become frustrating.

He added: "We've been three points away from 50 for ages now and we haven't got there.

"It's a ridiculous situation. A month ago we were talking about sneaking into the playoffs and now we find ourselves looking over our shoulder. …
