Tulsa's MacroSolve Launches Mobile Application Software

A Tulsa-based technology company has created an application for mobile devices.

MacroSolve Inc., parent company of Anyware Mobile Solutions, announced the launch of the application builder ReForm XT Monday afternoon.

This proprietary software allows smart-phone users to create and manage mobile applications through the Web, said Clint Parr, president and chief executive of MacroSolve.

Reform XT can operate on BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Palm devices along with rugged Windows handhelds.

"Most mobile applications are built for one device," he said. "Now you can go and develop an application for a lot of different devices, and send that application to people in your company and outside the company."

Users are able to modify ReForm XT to meet their needs, said Brian Bollenbach, director of product development for Anyware Mobile Solutions.

Bollenbach said Reform XT was built with the non-technical user in mind. There isn't any software to install and Reform XT is Web- interfaced, he said.

"Some of the applications out there have to have an IT department run it," said Bollenbach. "ReForm creates the application yourself and provides more flexibility."

Companies can improve their bottom line through the mobile data collection, said Parr. Business processes such as surveys, sales and inventory are traditionally done through a paper process. …
