Oklahoma-Based Infinite Solutions Group Is in the Business of Fixing Troubled Companies

Infinite Solutions Group is in the business of fixing troubled companies, said Tra Pippin.

From a financial analysis to a hard look at staffing and operations, he said, it's important for a company to seek help in time to be salvaged.

"If we catch them in time, we generally have probably upwards of an 85-percent success ratio," Pippin said. "If not, it's about 30 percent."

Art Miller, another ISG principal, said the firm tries to identify early warning signs to help businesses steer clear of the rocky shoals, particularly in the current economy.

"We're a little bit fortunate in Oklahoma City, in that we haven't been hit too awfully hard at this point," Miller said. "However, we can certainly see some bad things coming down the road."

Miller, a CPA, said that ability to see what's on the horizon gives Oklahoma companies some valuable time to plan for a downturn in sales or other business.

Pippin said Infinite Solutions, founded in 2001, has a variety of methods to help ensure a successful turnaround tailored to a client's particular company.

Miller said those financial, human resources, diagnostic and other tools can give businesses a view of what they're doing well and where they need to apply more time and effort.

Pippin, an attorney and former business CEO, said ISG's business is on the upswing since the economy took a decided southern turn over the past several months.

"We've got a pretty broad base of people from which to draw experience," he said.

Miller said that Mike Sleeper, another principal in the firm, has a background in aeronautical engineering, and works on operational issues, while Ron Davidson has a background in the health care field.

Pippin said one of the best aids Infinite Solutions offers is through the peer adviser groups of The Alternative Board.

"If a company is not on the operating table, we can put them through The Alternative Board and help them grow their company," he said.

Pippin said that assistance, from a group of about 10 business owners who meet each month in a roundtable fashion, is invaluable. …
