Article excerpt

Leisure Hospitality will bring Hilton's newest brand to Oklahoma in a $16 million expansion at Tapp Development's Southwest Crossroads project in Glenpool.

The 90-room Home2 Suites by Hilton will comprise one of two four- story hotels Leisure will start construction on in August, President and Chief Executive Robert Patel said Thursday.

Leisure also will build a 90-room Holiday Inn Express and Suites backing against a lake at the center of the 140-acre project.

Home2 Suites also touts a working wall in each guest room. This modular setting serves not only as a work space, but also closet and storage.

While the new concept includes many regular amenities and services - complementary continental breakfast, indoor pool, fitness facilities - it adds some more exotic touches, such as outdoor living rooms with grills.

Home2 Suites also employs environmental elements, including EPA Water Sense plumbing fixtures by Kohler, bulk shower dispensers, dual-flush toilets and recycled flooring. …
