The Oklahoma Agents Alliance, a member of the Strategic Insurance Agents Alliance, has added six members from Oklahoma.

New members are J.K. Meadors and Co. and company president Kyle Meadors of Stillwater; Wiedemann Insurance Agency and company president Scott Wiedemann of Yukon; Pool-Martin Insurance Agency and company president Mark Martin of Chickasha; Gibson and Greer Agency and company principals Gary Gibson and Bruce Greer of Tahlequah; The Insurance Place Agency and company president Kay Moore of Waurika and Ringling; and RCI Insurance Group and company president Mick Cottom of Claremore.

With the addition of these insurance agencies, the total membership in Oklahoma Agents Alliance stands at 15 independent insurance agencies, the group said. Together, members of OAA employ 80 insurance professionals and write a combined $40 million of insurance premiums in 13 Oklahoma communities.

"Becoming a member of Oklahoma Agents Alliance brings us tremendous opportunities to serve our customers even better with more insurance carriers, special programs, and combined marketing power," said Cottom.

Oklahoma Agents Alliance, based in Oklahoma City, serves independent insurance agents throughout the state of Oklahoma.

Webb, Young & Webb

An Oklahoma City insurance agency is among recipients of special awards for outstanding performance presented by Bituminous Insurance Cos. in Rock Island, Ill.

The awards program, now in its 27th year, honors achievements of a wide range of producers in the areas of premium volume, quality and professionalism.

Accepting an award for Webb, Young & Webb of Oklahoma City was Randy Webb.

The "Circle of Excellence" award is a bronze sculpture of a soaring eagle within a golden circle, a symbol of excellence.

Other insurance agencies to receive recognition are in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas. …
