City Planners Approve Plans for Up to 1,373 Homes

Oklahoma City officials approved plans Thursday that could add more than 1,373 homes to the area.

The Oklahoma City Planning Commission gave its approval to the preliminary plat of Raywood Manor located south of NW 36th Street and west of Sara Road. The developer, Marvin R. LLC, is planning to create 488 single-family homes and several common areas on 155 acres, yielding a gross residential density of 3.14 dwellings per acre.

The commission also:

* Approved the final plat of Somers Pointe, Phase II located south of Reno Avenue and west of Cemetery Road. Terra Verde Development said it wants to build 51 single-family lots on 13.24 acres and 16 duplex lots on 4.63 acres.

* Approved a request by Bob Linn Development to rezone 2631-2643 Cedar Tree Road from PUD-60 planned unit development to PUD.

* Deferred to Feb. 26 a request by L.A.F.M.C. Rentals, LLC to rezone 10500 NW 36th St. from C-3 community commercial district to R- 2 medium low density residential district.

* Approved the final plat of Concord Place located north of Memorial Road and west of MacArthur. Dr. A.S. Dahr intends to build 10 office/commercial lots on 12.90 acres.

* Approved the final plat of Drakestone Addition, Section V located south of NW 10th St. and west of Mustang Road. Developers Harry Merson and Mark Silver Drakestone Corp. plans to create 57 single-family lots on 15.79 acres.

* Approved the preliminary plat of Cedar Creek located south of SW 104th Street and west of Council Road. TMJ Enterprises, LLC said it wants to create 20 single-family lots on 25.35 acres.

* Approved the preliminary plat of Lakeside of Oakdale located north of Hefner Road and east of Air Depot Boulevard. Developer Lakeside of Oakdale LLC intends to create 59 single-family lots and common areas on 133.4 acres.

* Approved the final plat of Auburn Meadows, Section 3 located north of NW 178th Street and east of Pennsylvania Avenue. Danforth Development LLC said it plans to create 63 single-family lots and a common are on 17.18 acres.

* Approved the revised final plat of Sonoma Lake Phase II located south of NW 164th Street and east of Pennsylvania Avenue. Sonoma Lake, LLC plans to create 47 single-family lots and common areas on 10.93 acres.

* Approved a request by Road Paving Machinery to rezone 7600 N. Bryant Ave. from I-1 light industrial district to PUD.

* Approved a request by Four S's to rezone 750 S. Mustang Road from PUD-788 to PUD.

* Deferred to Feb. 26 a request by David Stanley Ford to rezone 2712 NW 39th St. from O-2 general office and C-3 to SPUD simplified planned unit development.

* Deferred to Feb. 26 a request by David Stanley Ford to close the north 163.5 feet of Frankford Avenue, located south of NW 39th St.

* Deferred to Feb. 26 a request by The Oklahoma Publishing Co. to rezone 8400 N. Broadway Ext. from R-1 to I-1. …
