Speaker of the Oklahoma House Todd Hiett, R-Kellyville, has made several ap456pointments to legislative, supervisory and advisory boards and committees.

To the Science and Technology Research and Development Board, which acts as the governing board for the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology and the Oklahoma Institute of Technology, Hiett appointed Rep. Greg Piatt, R-Ardmore.

To the Alzheimer's Research Advisory Council, designed to advise state agencies on Alzheimer programs and develop research plans and funding alternatives to address Alzheimer research expansion Hiett appointed Rep. Sue Tibbs, R-Tulsa.

To the Waterworks and Wastewater Works Advisory Council, designed to make recommendations to the Department of Environmental Quality rules and administration of the Waterworks and Wastewater Works Operator Certification Act, Hiett appointed Allen McDonald.

To the Oklahoma Building Bonds Commission, which acts on behalf of the state in vitalizing the sale of the $350 million in bonds authorized during the 1992 session, Hiett appointed Aron Storck.

To the Laboratory Services Advisory Council, designed to recommend rule changes to the Department of Environmental Quality regarding laboratory services and certification standards, Hiett appointed Kenneth Crawford and Rodney W. …
