OK-Based BOK Financial Completes Purchase of Valley Commerce Bank

BOK Financial on Wednesday completed its purchase of Valley Commerce Bank of Phoenix.

David Ralston, who has been with BOK since 1984, was appointed chairman of Valley Commerce. Ralston and Gregory S. Anderson, president and CEO of Valley Commerce Bank, plan to introduce new products and services as part of an initiative to expand offerings for commercial, trust, consumer and private banking clients.

Valley Commerce Bank, founded in 1995, has two locations.

With this merger, Valley Commerce will soon be able to offer products and services comparable to any bank in the Phoenix area, but will do so with personal, responsive customer service that always puts the needs of local clients first, said Ralston.

Valley Commerce will have a higher lending limit, he said. BOK Financial has assets of $14.4 billion, loans of $7.9 billion and deposits of $9.6 billion. Its trust division oversees assets of $24.6 billion.

BOK Financial announced an agreement to buy the Phoenix bank in late December. …
