Two OKC Ad Agencies Forge Alliance to Win State's Lottery Account
Two Oklahoma City advertising agencies have formed an alliance to win the Oklahoma Lottery Commission's advertising and marketing account.
Skyline Media Group and Staplegun of Oklahoma City established LottoPartners LLC, which will have offices at 6525 N. Classen Blvd.
The LottoPartners team is comprised entirely of native Oklahomans who are committed to a successful lottery and the positive economic impact it will have for Oklahoma schools, said Chad Stalcup, president of Skyline. We also believe an Oklahoma agency can best serve the state on this account.
A request for proposals for lottery advertising and marketing support services was released July 12 by the Department of Central Services. Aug. 8 is the bid closing date. The next meeting of the Oklahoma Lottery Commission is scheduled Aug. 9.
The panel is in the process of contracting for services such as game services providers, retailers who sell lottery tickets to the public, legal firms and advertising.
At the July meeting, Andrews Davis was selected over three other applicants to handle some of the commission's legal duties. Initially there were 13 bids to the request for proposal for legal services. That list was cut to the final four for the July meeting.
The firm will provide services not already provided through the attorney general's office, which was the subject of a separate contract approved by the commission. That contract for the fiscal year that began July 1 will be for $26,000, which is based on the anticipated hours and salaries of four employees within the attorney general's office.
The commission will rely on the attorney general's office to handle legal services, but Andrews Davis will provide those services that the attorney general's office is unable to provide.
Skyline Media Group, formed three years ago, has 15 employees. It provides communications services to automotive, gaming, retail, restaurant and health care clients in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dallas and Denver. …
