Innovator of the Year Profile: St. Anthony Hospital Addresses Patient Satisfaction with Sleep Clinic

St. Anthony brings a whole new concept in sleep medicine to the Oklahoma City area with the relocation of its Sleep Disorders Lab to the third floor of the Marriott Courtyard Downtown.

The typical location of a sleep lab is within the confines of a hospital or an independent, free-standing, business-type setting.

Another unique feature of this model is that it allows the business to grow into the future as needed by leasing more space in the hotel.

Currently, the sleep lab leases five rooms from the Marriott - four are considered patient testing rooms and one is used as the control room where technicians monitor the patients.

As patient volume grows, our arrangement allows us to either expand at the present location and/or duplicate this model in other areas of the city to provide easier access for our patients, said Gordon Yenzer, manager of diagnostic medical services. …
