OKC-Based Perry Broadcasting Adds Anadarko Station: Format to Remain Country

Perry Broadcasting and Publishing, which made its name on the urban contemporary scene, has purchased a country music station in Anadarko.

KACO-FM (98.5) is the second country station added to the lineup of the company owned by Russell Perry. Perry also lists KKEN-FM (97.1) in Duncan as part of its country lineup.

Perry Broadcasting and Publishing owns contemporary urban station KRMP-AM (1140) and mainstream urban station KVSP-FM (103.5), as well as The Black Chronicle newspaper, all in Oklahoma City.

Perry also owns KJMM-FM (105.3) and KGTO-AM (1050) in Tulsa, which have either a contemporary urban or mainstream urban format.

KACO-FM will add to Perry's southwest market, which includes Lawton stations KJMZ-FM (98.1, mainstream urban), KKRX-AM (1050, contemporary urban) and KPTK-AM (1380, sports). Perry also owns KDDQ- FM (105.3, classic rock) and KPNS-AM (1350, news talk) in Duncan.
