Oklahoma City-Based Human Resources Company Paycom Breaks Ground on New Headquarters

The Oklahoma City-based human resources company Paycom broke ground Wednesday on a new 90,000-square-foot headquarters that will create about 400 new jobs over the next three years. The company is expanding with the help of state and city economic incentives to create new jobs.

"It's exciting to see local companies who have roots in this state and city really prosper and grow additional jobs," said Roy Williams, president and chief executive of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. "Paycom is the perfect model of the kinds of economic development you want to see happening."

The new campus is set on 14 acres Paycom owns on Memorial Road between Rockwell Avenue and Council Road. The three-story building is big enough for 450 employees. The company's new data center will be housed in the basement of the building. Eventually, the company hopes to expand to build one or two more buildings on the property, said Paycom Chief Executive Chad Richison.
