For the 55th year, Kappa Alpha Theta alumnae will have their annual Flaming Festival at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. The date is Nov. 2 and the time is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The luncheon will benefit Youth Services for Oklahoma County and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). The speaker will be lifestyle authority Mary Carol Garrity, author of a home interior book series, syndicated columnist and founder of Neil Hill's, a retail interior design store.

Co-chairwomen are Millie Hightower and Macie Craves-Liles.

Traditionally, the Flaming Festival features unique and decorative tabletops, each with a theme, created by Theta alumnae and local merchants. For tickets, call (405) 728-0568.

A cappella ensemble

Armstrong Auditorium, 14400 S. Bryant Rd., Edmond, will continue its 2011-2012 season with the Chanticleer all-male vocal ensemble as they perform Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. For tickets, call (405) 285-1010 or visit www.ArmstrongAuditorium.org.
