Rude mom betrays mission of school

To Cheryl Burris (letter Thursday) regarding Memorial High School, as a parent of a student at Memorial, I would like to apologize for your bad experience.

That parent does not represent everyone at Memorial.

To the parent who made the comment to Ms. Burris, Memorial is a prestigious school; too bad you have not realized the whole picture of its prestige.

Treating others as you would want to be treated is the very core lesson of the Catholic faith.

Ask yourself how you would handle someone parked in front of your driveway when you wanted to leave your home.

It is a fact that this prestigious school is located in a neighborhood and we as parents and students at this school need to be good neighbors. I invite you to spend some time in the adoration chapel on campus or to speak with a father or any one of our teachers or administrators.

They will be able to explain the lesson that your student is being taught along with the book education. …
