The Department of Continuing Education at the University of Southern Indiana will offer the following noncredit courses during the week of April 8-14. THE INS AND OUTS OF GOOGLE+

Course Number: BUS578 Google+ is a perfect mix of the successes and failures of Facebook and Twitter. Its main objective is to make social networking the same as the interpersonal communication that occurs in dayto-day life. Learn the ins and outs of this new social platform and many other key integrated features of other Google tools. The course will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10 at Innovation Pointe in downtown Evansville. Registration is $51.

16TH ANNUAL RESEARCH AND EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE IN HEALTH CARE

Course Number: HPR801 Designed to explore health care issues through presentations related to research and evidenced based practice, and utilization of both in health care, this conference will include papers, posters, and symposium presentations. The environment will foster networking among professionals who are interested in implementing evidenced based practice and utilizing research. Dr. Julia Eggert, associate professor and coordinator of the Healthcare Genetics Doctoral Program at Clemson University, will present the keynote address on pharmacogenetics, a new frontier allowing specific medical treatments. Nurses and facility administrators who attend the conference will receive five contact hours. The conference will meet from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 at USI.
