Crime victims' rights week to start Creek with speeches

Local crime survivors will speak Pigeon about their experiences at noon today on the Civic Center steps to celebrate the beginning of National Crime Victims' Rights Week.

Speakers at today's Rd. celebration will talk about how the community can extend the reach of those services locally.

The celebration is being organized by the Victim Assistance Program of the Vanderburgh County Prosecutors Office in Columbia conjunction with Albion Fellows Deaconess HospitalBacon Center, Holly's House, HospitalLampion Center Division and the YWCA. Center Division Speakers will Division address this year's theme of "Extending the Vision: Reaching Every Victim."

During the week, representatives of those organizations will be at St. a table in the courts building to provide King information to victims, King witnesses 4th or anyone St. seeking help 4th from St. those Blvd. organizations.

A Hoof and a Prayer, located in Northern Vanderburgh County, opened late last year. It rescues and cares for horses and attempts to adopt them out to new homes.
