EVANSVILLE Holly's House helps develop molest case

Evansville police have charged a man with two felony counts of molesting a young child.

Taurus Ahman Beldsoe, 33, was arrested Thursday morning and lodged in Vanderburgh County Jail without bail.

According to the affidavit, the child told officials at Holly's House on Tuesday that Bledsoe touched her genitals.

Police didn't disclose the girl's age, but the affidavit said she wears a brand of training pants.

Police said that Bledsoe initially denied sexual contact with the girl, but later said there was sexual contact.

Bledsoe said he watched pornography after the girl left, the affidavit said.

He gave consent for his computer to be examined by an Internet Crimes Against Children detective.
