Contributions of clothing, food, toys and money to aid flood victims are being received at the St. Charles County YMCA Child Care Center, 1524 Heritage Landing, St. Charles.

The Red Cross will have a blood-donation drive at St. Charles West High School, 3601 Droste Road, St. Charles, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Saturday.

Salvation Army Distribution Center, North Outer Road at Interstate 70 and Highway 79, open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 1-7 p.m. for distribution of food, water and cleaning supplies. Call 279-6538 or 279-6541. The other distribution center is at St. John United Church of Christ, 5th and Jackson streets, St. Charles, open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Homeless flood victims who are members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars or its Ladies Auxiliary may get aid by calling Fred Phillips, 258-3313, or by contacting VFW Headquarters, Box 26, Jefferson City, Mo., 65102, telephone 636-8761.

Vouchers worth $10 of gasoline for flood victims are available at the St. Charles County Outreach Center of the North East Community Action Corp., 1700 Randolph Street, St. Charles. Applicants need to show FEMA or Red Cross documents to prove they are flood victims. Oil companies are asked to make donations by calling 723-3470.
