The following list reports on major road construction projects that could cause traffic congestion. The Missouri Highway and Transportation Department, the Illinois Transportation Department and construction contractors provided information for the list. MISSOURI St. Louis: Highway 40 (Interstate 64): Potential lane closures on eastbound and westbound lanes at night between the Poplar Street Bridge and McCausland Avenue.

Eastbound and westbound lanes will be shut down for five to 10 minutes from midnight to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Some ramps may have lane restrictions in off-peak hours.

Interstate 70 and Interstate 55: Potential lane closures on northbound and southbound lanes at night between 6th and Arsenal streets. Northbound and southbound lanes will be shut down for five to 10 minutes from midnight to 6 a.m. today through Friday. North County: Lindbergh Boulevard: Northbound and southbound lanes narrowed at Natural Bridge Road for bridge repairs. Potential lane closures in off-peak hours.

Potential lane closures in off-peak hours between St. Charles Rock Road and New Halls Ferry Road.

St. Charles Rock Road: From Interstate 270 west to the old St. Charles Rock Road Bridge, two-way traffic will be placed on the south ramp to Missouri Bottom Road at the closed bridge.

West County: Highway 40 (I-64) and I-270 interchange: Traffic congested because of construction.

Clarkson Road: Potential lane closures in off-peak hours between Clayton and Manchester roads, and at Manchester and Clarkson roads.

Olive Boulevard: Potential lane closures in off-peak hours between East Drive and Ladue Road. South County: Gravois Road: Potential lane closures in eastbound and westbound lanes in off-peak hours from Lindbergh Boulevard to the Jefferson County Line. Lanes narrowed at the Missouri Highway 141 bridge and split on the Meramec River bridge.

Tesson Ferry Road: Potential lane closures in off-peak hours from I-270 to Gravois. Traffic reduced to one lane in each direction at Gravois Creek. Motorists may experience delays at night because of paving.

Interstate 44: Lanes may be closed in off-peak hours from one mile west of St. Louis County line to 1.2 miles east of Franklin County line. For the next several months, both eastbound and westbound lanes will be shut down at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for five minutes for blasting. Motorists should exercise caution through this area.

I-270: Potential lane closures between 6 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. from I-44 to Gravois, and from Tesson Ferry Road to I-55. The Theiss Road bridge over I-270 is closed. Night paving operations may cause delays. Northbound and southbound I-270 traffic has been shifted on the bridge over Rott Road between Gravois and I-44.
