Q: We put a ceiling fan out on the patio. It was protected from rain but I guess the humidity got to the blades and they are badly warped. Can we take the warp out and if not, is there a way to protect new blades?

A: You could try taking the blades off and placing them on a flat surface with weights on top. This sometimes works but after you get them straightened out, the warp may return. If you do succeed in straightening the blades, coat them with an exterior varnish to keep future moisture out. There are blades made for exterior use. Metal blades look much like wood.
