St. Louis Blues Heritage Festival, Laclede's Landing, Saturday through Monday, Sept. 3-5

In terms of both quantity and quality, this is easily one the best music festivals of any type in the country. Over the course of three days, you'll be able to catch some major jazz, gospel, soul and, of course, blues performers, all for free.
