MISSOURI ST. LOUIS MetroLink Drops Plan For Berkeley

MetroLink riders won't be able to travel to Berkeley for several years, if ever, under a decision made Thursday by the area's top transit officials.

Before construction began, the Berkeley spur had been planned as part of MetroLink's first line. Although the line has been running for more than a year, Bi-State has done nothing about extending it to Berkeley.

That's because Lambert Field's expansion plan is still undecided, and the route of the spur would depend on the layout of the airport, Bi-State employees told the commissioners. ST. LOUIS Arena Seats Will Go On Sale Today
