Wendy Hennessey

Wendy Hennessey, 29, of Moscow Mills, was pronounced dead Monday (Oct. 10, 1994) at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy.

Mrs. Hennessey was a housekeeper.

A funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home, 351 Monroe Street, Troy. Burial will be private.

Among survivors are three daughters, Margaret Letford and Heather Letford, both of north St. Louis County, and Dorothy Hennessey of Lincoln County; three sisters, Martha Jean Hanan of New Burg, N.Y., Evelyn Ann Orf of Wentzville and Sandra Sue Bergfeld of Wright City; and three brothers, Ruben Pikey Jr. of Gray Summit, Craig Pikey of Hawk Point and Richard Pikey of Joplin, Mo.

Memorial contributions can be made to a fund for her daughters in care of Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home, 351 Monroe Street, Troy, Mo. 63379. James O. Curtis

A funeral service for James Oliver Curtis, 85, of Wentzville, was held last Thursday at Veterans Chapel in Hampton, Va. Burial was at the Parklawn Cemetery in Hampton.

Mr. Curtis died Sunday, Oct. 2, 1994, at his home after suffering a stroke.

He was a retired supervisor in the tool department of a shipbuilding company in Newport News, Va. He had lived in Wentzville for three years. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in New Melle.

Among survivors are a daughter, Roberta Polydys of Wentzville; a son, Jerome Curtis of Lugoff, S.C.; three brothers, Vernon Curtis of Hampton, Va., Harold Curtis of Virginia Beach, Va., and Earl Curtis of Williamsburg, Va.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Gerber Chapel, 23 West Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves, Mo. …
