OK, SO YOU'RE not a kid anymore. Your old Erector set is somewhere in the attic; your Mr. Potato Head is up in the folks' closet, and your Easy Bake oven is . . . who knows where that thing is.

But that doesn't mean you have to do without toys.

Especially not during the Christmas and Hanukkah seasons.

Following is a brief list of some adult toys (no, not that kind!) that might find their way onto a few holiday lists.

For the water lover: Six thousand bucks will buy a very nice, basic redwood hot tub to cut through the winter chill. But if you want something more, George Pritchard, president of St. Louis Tub and Spa Works, says they can put in a very nice five-person custom tub for $15,000 to $20,000. For that, you can have your choice of 250 styles of ceramic tile and, as a holiday bonus, the company will even throw in a free Christmas tree.

If you had a bit more water in mind, how about the entire Mediterranean Sea? One of the most exotic cruises offered through Jan's Travel Ltd. of Kirkwood is an 11-day trip aboard the 114-passenger luxury yacht Sea Goddess. Nearly two weeks of hopping between Greek islands, for only about 15 grand per person. "The taste of sweet lobster and wild pheasant," says the brochure. "Gershwin played impeccably on an ebony grand. . . . lavender sunsets on silver-blue waters."

For the nostalgic: St. Louis Slot Machine offers a full-size Coca-Cola vending machine, circa 1955, with nine bottle racks for a cool $2,500. The company also has a jukebox modeled after the old "bubblers" that holds 100 compact discs, for $5,900.

For the homebody: Million-dollar homes are a dime a dozen in the St. Louis area, but Alex Tilford of Coldwell Banker says she is listing the perfect home for an old-fashioned Charles Dickens Christmas. Leaded glass cabinets, beautiful millwork, a phenomenal entry foyer with "old world charm. …
