An immense display of boats, travel booths from all over North America, fishing seminars, casting tournaments for children, turkey calling contests and other attractions will be featured at the 41st St. Louis Boat & Sports Show Feb. 21-26 at America's Center.

All kinds of recreational boats, from personal watercraft to blue-water cruisers, will occupy most of the center. Travel booths from many states and most Canadian provinces will be there.

Pro anglers O.T. Fears and David Vance will teach bass fishing. Children can cast under the tutelage of the St. Louis Bassmasters and some can qualify for the Missouri casting championships.

Four-time water ski world champion Sammy Duvall will give clinics for beginners and intermediates.

Also featured will be a turkey calling/hunting seminar by two-time world calling champion Steve Stoltz and the Mid-America Open Wild Turkey Calling Championship.

Hours will be 5-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 12 noon-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday or 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $2 for children 6-12. CALENDAR

Monday: Pro angler Guy Winters will teach crappie fishing on Mark Twain, Truman and Lake of the Ozarks at 7:30 p.m. at Queeny County Park, 550 Weidman Road. Admission is $4.

Tuesday: Radio show host Bill Seibel will teach finesse fishing for bass at Queeny Park at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $4.

Wednesday: Pro guide Larry Woodward will teach fishing on Mark Twain Lake at Pattonville High School, 2497 Creve Coeur Mill Road. Admission is $4.

Wednesday and Feb. 15-22: Tom Hargrove will teach rod building at the Museum of Transport, 3015 Barrett Station Road. Registration is required. Call 487-4086.

Feb. 11: A calling contest of the Ozark Mountain Gobblers Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation at the Arcadia Valley Elementary School in Ironton. Calling in 4 classes beginning at 1 p.m. For information call Tony Cole at 546-6103 or 546-3682.

Feb. 11-12: Larry Nixon, leading money winner in pro bass fishing, will teach plastic worm fishing at the Bass Fishing Techniques Institute at SLCC-Florissant Valley. …
