Daniel F. Sheehan Sr., a longtime real estate executive and community leader, died Friday (Feb. 3, 1995) at St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights after suffering a heart attack. He was 91 and lived in Clayton.

Mr. Sheehan was active in real estate for more than 60 years. He was president of Dolan Realtors for 40 years before the company was sold in the early 1980s.

He was a former president of the National Association of Realtors, Mortgage Bankers Association, St. Louis Association of Realtors and the American Chapter of International Real Estate Federation.

He served on the boards of numerous institutions and groups in St. Louis including Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, Fontbonne College and Mary Queen and Mother Association of St. Louis. He also was a former co-chairman of the Conference of Christians and Jews.

Mr. Sheehan was born and reared in St. Louis. He graduated in 1925 from St. Louis University School of Law. …
