Rookie Tyler Green pitched six shutout innings, and Darren Daulton had a homer and four RBIs as the Philadelphia Phillies extended their winning streak to seven games with a 10-1 victory over Montreal on Wednesday night.

Green (2-1) struck out six, walked four and allowed only three hits in winning his second outing in succession. Philadelphia got 14 hits, following up on a 15-hit effort Tuesday.

Daulton and Tony Longmire were both four for five and Jim Eisenreich went three for five. Longmire had his first career four-hit game, scored three times and knocked in a run.

Reds 3, Marlins 0: Kevin Jarvis pitched the first complete game in the majors this season, a two-hit shutout for Cincinnati in a victory over Florida.

Jarvis, making his third start of the season and his ninth career major-league appearance, allowed a double to Greg Colbrunn in the second inning and a two-out single to Gary Sheffield in the ninth.

Dodgers 3, Padres 1: Eric Karros went three for four and drove in two runs to complement the pitching of Ramon Martinez as Los Angeles beat San Diego. …
