HERE'S A NECKTIE your kids can make that I guarantee won't be a run-of-the-mill Father's Day gift this year.

Dad, or someone special the kids like to remember on Father's Day, will love this humorous tie that will stand out from all the rest!

Help your kids get started on their creations now, so they'll have plenty of time to complete the project by Sunday, June 18.

The kids may make the neckties out of heavy tagboard, but I suggest using sheets of craft foam, such as Fun Foam brand.

Look for it at fabric, craft and discount stores.

It's durable, inexpensive and easy for children to handle.

You'll also need a clamp-style earring clasp for each tie, as well as charms, fabric paints, markers and any other decorative items your kids can dream up.
