Q: How did you get involved with Club 367? A: A few years back, I was driving and stopped to give a man a lift whose car had broken down. As we were driving, he told me about some of his troubles; there had been a death in his family and he was in financial trouble. He told me he owned a big club in North County called Animal House. He wanted to sell it, and I decided there, on the spot, to buy it. Q: When was that? A: I opened Club 367 five years ago. Q: Club 367 is essentially a hard rock club? A: Hard rock, hard metal, hard punk. But also country, jazz. Anything really. Q: It's almost too big a venue to call a club. A: Yes, it has a capacity of about 1,500. You put 300 people in my place and it looks empty. It's too big to fill on a nightly basis. But we've filled it before with concerts by bands such as Pantera, Nazareth, White Zombie, Sepultura. …
