Area voters in Missouri and Illinois will decide issues from incorporation to school taxes and bond issues at the ballot box today. The polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. SOUTH POINTE

Voters in much of south St. Louis County are considering incorporating South Pointe, which would be the area's largest suburb and the fifth-most-populous city in the state. NEW SCHOOL BUILDINGS

The Waterloo School District wants voters to approve a $25 million bond issue to pay for a new high school building. The Highland School District has put a $9.1 million bond issue on the ballot to build a new middle school. In Illinois, voters also will fill seats on school boards. TAX WAIVER

The Mehlville, Parkway and Washington school districts are asking voters to waive a property tax rollback provided by the state sales tax on education. Also, the Mehlville district wants approval of a $28 million bond issue, and Parkway seeks a tax increase of 28 cents for each $100 of assessed valuation. …
