Injury Bug Keeps Nagging Ambush

In four years in the National Professional Soccer League, the Ambush have had luck staying away from the injury bug - until this season.

The injury list for this season is long.

Forward Mark Moser suffered a knee injury Nov. 10 and missed five games.

Defender Chris Kenny hurt his knee Nov. 18 against Harrisburg and has been out since.

Forward Joe Reiniger injured his ankle last week but didn't miss a game. Midfielder Mike LaPosha has nagging shoulder and ankle injuries but has played despite the pain.

The latest member on the injury list is forward Kevin Groark. He sprained his fibula against Buffalo on Saturday and will miss at least two weeks.

"I didn't even see Kevin get hurt," coach Daryl Doran said. "He has been playing really well for us at midfield and at off forward. This has been the worst year for us with injuries. …
