The beauty of Let It Ride, the newest game at the Casino Queen, is that it lets you feel like you can control your losses. You start with $15 bet on each hand, but you have a chance to take $10 of that back if you don't like your cards.

For example, take the first hand I was dealt (please!). I had 10 of clubs, 4 of hearts and king of diamonds. I needed a pair of 10s or better to be a winner, so I took back $5 of my bet. The dealer turned over a 5, so I took back another $5. If the dealer had turned over a king or 10, I would have been guaranteed a winner and would have kept my bet at $10. …
