Dear Al & Kelly: We made an interesting rose trellis from two old windows. The glass was removed, and the window frames painted to match the house. We sunk a pole on either side of the frames and nailed the frames to the poles for support. The roses climb up and through the windows. It really looks neat, and it was easy to do.

A Super Hint: If you ever need to run new wiring though a conduit, don't pull out the old wiring right away. First, tape the new wiring to the old and then pull the old wiring out through the other end, while at the same time pulling the new wiring into the conduit. The trick can save you a lot of time and frustration.
