A trip to a pop concert Wednesday night left Brian Olin with a lonely, sinking feeling.

Olin, 34, spent more than four hours at the bottom of a 45-foot sewer - treading in cold water and human waste - near the Riverport Amphitheatre.

And the friend who went with him to the Alanis Morissette show drove off and left him there. Olin, of Mount Vernon, Ill., said Thursday that he and his friend, whom he did not want to name, left the concert after it was over and strolled back to his friend's truck, which was parked behind some businesses near the concert site. "We took a wrong turn and ended up on this grassy area behind some businesses, and the truck got stuck," Olin said. The business is located at 12100 Pritchard Farms. "I got out of the truck to see what was hanging us up and, bam, I fell down this hole, straight down this hole," Olin said. …
