Terrell Brandon had 14 of his 19 points in the third quarter and the Cleveland Cavaliers handed the visiting Boston Celtics a franchise record-tying 13th consecutive loss, 99-81 Saturday night.

Brandon, one for six for two points in the first half, went four for four from the field for 10 points in Cleveland's 20-5 run to start the third quarter. Brandon's lefthanded scoop shot gave the Cavs a 66-49 lead with 2:22 left in the third.

The main excitement after that was wondering if the low-scoring Ca valiers would reach 100 points. The few fans who were left booed Cleveland guard Bob Sura when he missed two foul shots with 17 seconds to play, then let reserve Reggie Geary hear jeers when he let the last few seconds run off the clock. One of the worst offensive teams in the NBA, the Cavs have scored 100 points only three times in the last 15 games. The Celtics' skid ties the franchise mark set in 1994. Antoine Walker led Boston with 21 points, and Todd Day scored 18. …
