A Suite Deal Upscale Menu to Be Offered in Busch Preferred Seating

Fans at Busch Stadium expect to find more than just peanuts and hot dogs to eat these days. But seared bass, stir-fried chicken with vegetables or minted rack of lamb?

It's all part of a trendy new menu the stadium's food service company will roll out gradually in the months ahead for fans in deluxe suites and in dining rooms in the Stadium Club and Cardinals' Club Lounge.

Fans in those areas also will be able to watch chefs prepare food at individual food stations. "You'll be able to walk from station to station, take what you want, and see other people," said Brenda Follmer, a spokeswoman for Sportservice Corp. "We've tested this in Boston and in Buffalo, and fans say this is what they want." To provide the new food service at Busch and 17 other stadiums, arenas and sports complexes around the country, Sportservice is starting a new division called Well Bread. Stephen J. Beehag, manager of restaurants, catering and luxury suites for Well Bread, said fans at Busch will be among the first in the nation to get the new fare. …
