Horsing around St. Charles goes buck wild this Friday and Saturday night with the M.R.C.A. and I.R.C.A. sanctioned Rodeo at the Horse Palace, U.S. 40, 1 mile west of Missouri 94. This fast-paced, exciting show for the entire family celebrates America's Wild West heritage. Two days of bull riding, steer wrestling, bareback riding, calf roping, saddle bronc riding, team roping, bull fighters and barrel racing kick off at 8 each night. There will also be plenty of rodeo clowns to entertain the crowds. Tickets are $8, children 6 and under admitted free. Call 441-1173 for more information.

Classic clash

St. Louis Gateway Football Classic between Howard University and the Univer sity of Arkansas at Pine Bluff returns Saturday, but there are other activities to round out the weekend. A pep rally at 5 p.m. Friday features the bands and cheerleaders from both schools. The Gateway Classic parade steps off at 10 a.m. Saturday from Thirteenth and Market streets. This year's Grand Marshal is St. Louis native, comedian Dick Gregory. Local bands include the St. Louis Public Schools' All City Band, marching bands from University City High School, Carr Lane Visual and Perfor ming Arts High School and Harris Stowe State College. Visiting bands include Central State University of Wilberforce, Ohio. Tickets for Saturday's 4 p.m. gridiron clash at the Trans World Dome are still available. Call 621-1994 for more information. Go Greek Everything old is Greek again this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the West County Greek Festival taking place at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 1755 Des Peres Road in Town and Country. Festival hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. daily. Every delicacy from shish-kebobs to gyros, mousaka to spanakopita will be on sale. Pastry fans can choose among baklava, theples, honey-walnut cake and Greek cookies. …
