Belleville: The Park and Recreation Department is sponsoring Lincolnland Brass as part of the summer concert series. Guests are advised to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Granite City: The Granite City Park District will present "Big Band Vocals Night" featuring "America's Favorite Big Band Sounds" followed by one hour of Big Band vocal favorites performed by Stan Fornaszewski and his 14-Piece Big Band. Fairview Heights: Proceeds from the Fairview Heights Public Library's annual book sale will help the library purchase new materials. Books, records, magazines and paperback books available for sale.

MOTORCYCLE PROGRAM

Belleville: Motorcycle rider courses will be offered at the Belleville campus of Belleville Area College. Participants enrolling in the program must be at least 16, Illinois residents and have a valid driver's license or permit. Motorcycles, helmets and insurance are provided free. Class M Licenses can be obtained after completion of the course.

Place: Belleville Area College, 2500 Carlyle Road.

When: 6-9:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
