The Ten Commandments (ABC, 7-11:38 p.m.): Among the special TV presentations on Easter is Cecil B. DeMille's 1956 dramatization of Moses' life. Charlton Heston stars in this Biblical tale of the deliverance of the Israelites (including the parting of the Red Sea) and the writing of the holy tablets. The film won an Oscar for special effects.

Another epic on the Old Testament figure premieres tonight on cable: Moses (TNT, 8-10 p.m.), directed by Roger Young. This version stars Ben Kingsley, who adds a human dimension to Moses by playing up the hesitation and shyness the leader experienced. The epic - which is the fourth Old Testament film produced by TNT - concludes Monday at 8 p.m. Rodgers & Hammerstein: the Sound of Movies (A&E, 8-10 p.m.): Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II collaborated on some of the most memorable musicals to date - "Oklahoma!," "Carousel," "South Pacific," "The King and I," and "The Sound of Music" among them. …
