(62429) (Published in the Journal Record Aug. 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & 20, 1985) NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Sealed bids will be received by the undersigned City Clerk of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at his office in the Municipal Building until 9:30 o'clock A.M., on the 27th day of August, 1985, and considered at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Municipal Building on the 27th day of August, 1985, at 9:30 o'clock A.M., for furnishing the materials and performing the work necessary for the paving with 7" Portland Cement Concrete on a 3" Hot Sand Base and 6" Compacted Subgrade as shown on approved plats and specifications and curbing, guttering, draining and otherwise improving the streets, alleys, avenues, or parts thereof included in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Street Improvement District No. 1616, to-wit:

The unpaved portions of N.W. 70th Street from the existing pavement on Robinson Avenue to the centerline of Harvey Avenue in the City of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, State of Oklahoma.

Said bids to be submitted in duplicate one (1) with the City Clerk and one (1) with the City Auditor at their respective offices and must be either typewritten or written with pen and ink. The work performed and materials furnished shall be in accordance with the approved final plans, profiles and specifications on file in my office, and which may be examined in said office of copies thereof may be obtained from the City Engineer, Municipal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The proposal filed with the City Clerk shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond or a certified or cashier's check for Five (5%) per cent of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Treasurer of the City of Oklahoma City.

Bids shall be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate wage for this locality and project as set forth in the specifications, a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk. Said prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein.

Bids must be made on blanks furnished by the Engineer and shall conform to the requirements contained in the specifications.

Bidders shall comply with all pre-qualification requirements as set forth by the City Council. …
