NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that The City of Oklahoma City will receive sealed bids in the Office of the City Clerk, Municipal Building, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, until 9:30 a.m., on the 17th day of September, 1985, for the construction of:

Sanitary Sewer Relocation Project No. SC-0035

In the vicinity of Central Expressway from Reno Avenue to NE 15th Street

Any bids received after 9:30 a.m., on the above date, will be rejected. Bids shall be made in accordance with the Notice to Bidders, Requirements for Bidders, Plans, Specifications, and Bidders' Proposal, which are on file and available for examination at the Office of the City Clerk in the Municipal Building, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, upon deposit of $50.00 per set, all of which will be retained by the City; however, said deposit will be refunded to any prime bidder upon return of the plans and specifications in good condition within seven (7) days after bids are opened. Bids filed with the City Clerk shall be publicly opened and considered by the Mayor and Council in session at the time stated above or later. All bids shall remain on file at least forty-eight (48) hours thereafter before a contract shall be made and entered into thereon.

Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for this locality and project as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State, a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk, in accordance with the provisions of 40 O.S. Suppl., 196.1-196.12, which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as thoughfully set forth herein. Bid shall also be made in accordance with the below listed provisions of City Ordinance No. 16,515:

Section 1. All notice to bidders and specifications, prepared in accordance with the Oklahoma City Charter requirements for contracts pertaining to public improvements, maintenance of public property, public printing, purchases of supplies and all other contracts, shall provide as follows:

"A preference will be allowed each bidder who pays Oklahoma City Sales Tax on the materials to be furnished under the terms of the contract. …
