Medley Builds Solid Agency without Fanfare / 1985 Journal Record Insurance Industry Service Award

Article excerpt

Robert L. Medley is known in the property and casualty insurance business for the quiet way he goes about getting things done.

As as president of Medley Gunter Rosenhamer, he has built a strong agency without fanfare. It has performed well in today's tight market because of underwriting ability and professional approach that was prepared carefully.

- He has been active on the safety committee of the Independent Insurance Agents Association. He also has served on the continuing education, technical conference and communication committees.

- He has been active on the education and candidate development committees of the Chartered Property and Casualty Undewriters.

- In addition, he has attended legislative conferences in both Washington and Oklahoma City.

Medley's same thread of thought is carried through to his community contribution, both at work and at home.

He has been a director of Classen Beautiful, for example, because his firm is headquartered at 3815 N. …
