The 6,700 square-foot administrative building for Southeastern Oklahoma Agricultural Research and Extension Center, located one mile west of Lane on State Hwy. 3, was opened recently - thefirst of three buildings in that project.

The overall cost of the project was unavailable.

Two more buildings are planned for the site, a greenhouse facility and a research and work area were testing and research on agricultural products will be performed.

Construction of those facilities is slated to begin in the near future.

The project is a joint venture between the United States Department of Agriculture and Oklahoma State University's agriculture department. Extension agents from OSU and researchers from the USDA will both be using the facilities for testing and research purposes. . .

- Charles Golloway has been selected to fill a vacancy on the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Board of Realtors, according to D.J. Blanton, board president.

Golloway is sales manager for Lifestyles, Inc..

Golloway will serve during the remainder of 1985, filling the unexpired term of Don Whiteman, who resigned upon announcing his plans to move out of state.

Golloway has a bachelors degree in real estate from Central State University. . .

- Academy Hill, a new subdivision to be constructed in Ponca City, is the latest project of Norman developer Harold Liddell.

The project is located on a 20 acre site. The first phase of the project, which is to begin construction in the near future, will include 26 homes. Construction of a townhouse complex is being planned for the second phase.

The project is being constructed on the site where the historic Ponca Military Academy was once located, which overlooks the Arkansas River Valley and is adjacent to the Ponca City Country Club Golf course. …
