Androff, Louis Williampassed away in his hometown of St. Louis on December 1, 2012. Graduating from McKinley High School in 1941, Lou worked at the downtown post office until enlisting in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country as a Quartermaster (QM2C) aboard the USS Beckham during WWII. It was in the Navy that Lou acquired a talent for playing the harmonica, something he enjoyed throughout his life. Lou graduated in 1950 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and subsequently spent thirty-six years with Moore Business Forms in St. Louis and Chicago. In August 1954, Lou married his sweetheart Peggy Isabelle Cassidy; they shared 45 years together before her passing. Lou was an avid athlete throughout his life mastering tennis, golf, and bowling. A southpaw, he pitched minor league ball for the St. Louis Cardinals. Lou and Peggy retired to Florida in 1986. With the boat docked outside his back door, Captain Louie continued to enjoy fishing and loved tropical Cape Coral winters. …
