Catching Up on the Latest TV News; Networks Decide Fate, Lineups of Your Favorite Shows

I'm back from a two-week vacation, so I wanted to recap TV news that you might have missed while I was away:

* HBO ordered five episodes to finish the series run of "Treme."

* "Anderson Live," Anderson Cooper's talk show, was canceled. It will continue to air its second season, producers said. "Anderson" lost its St. Louis time slot after Season 1; turns out, KDNL (Channel 30), which dropped it, was ahead of the game.

* ABC picked up "Scandal" and "The Neighbors" for the full season.

* Rainn Wilson wrote on Twitter that "The Farm," the "Office" spinoff featuring his Dwight character, would not become a series. But the pilot will air as an "Office" episode, he said.

* Setting its midseason schedule, NBC said "Community" will return Feb. 7, replacing "30 Rock," which is ending its run. "Parks and Recreation" moves to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays as of Jan. 17; "Up All Night" goes on hiatus, during which it will shift to multicamera, live audience production. "Whitney" is back tonight, replacing the canceled "Animal Practice. …
