Texas AD backs Brown after big loss to BYU

The loss led to a coaching staff shake-up, with Brown replacing defensive coordinator Manny Diaz with former assistant Greg Robinson.

In an interview Wednesday with the Austin American-Statesman, Dodds denied rumors of meeting with school President Bill Powers and Brown after loss. He also said no such meetings are being planned.

Murry helped lead Rio Grande to the NBA Development League championship last season before playing on the Knicks' summer league entry in July. (AP)
