A 34-year-old North Bergen woman was arrested Thursday and charged with robbing a Ridgefield Park bank.

Jennifer Colaneri was taken into custody in the parking lot of Morristown Hospital at 11:30 a.m., said Capt. John DiNiro.

Police had distributed a picture of the woman who was caught on camera on Tuesday morning robbing the Bank of America at 264 Main St.

Lodi Police Officer Mark Corrado saw the photo and recalled a woman he had arrested for a previous shoplifting charge.

With that information, and mug shots held by Lodi and the Fairview Police Department, which had arrested Colaneri for shoplifting, detectives from Ridgefield Park were able to identify her and track her movements to Morristown Hospital, DiNiro said.

Police said Colaneri was going to visit a relative at the hospital. She was arrested without incident.

Authorities said Colaneri entered the bank through a rear entrance just before 10:15 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money and stating that she had a gun. …
