Nets Fans in N.J. Have Only One Real Option

What's a New Jersey Nets fan to do? It's not bad enough your team bolted to the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge. Now, every chance they get, they're rubbing it in your face.

There's a new logo and a ubiquitous marketing campaign. In promoting how cool Brooklyn is, the team is making it apparent how little it cared for Jersey. If you're a Jersey-bred Nets fan, I can't exactly blame you for being mad.

But before you up and abandon your fandom, let's evaluate your options.

Option 1: Wait for another team to arrive in Jersey.

Well, I hope you're patient. The Nets' two-year stint at Prudential Center wasn't exactly a happy time. They had the second- worst home record in the NBA this season -- only the historically wretched Charlotte Bobcats had fewer home wins. Also, the Nets didn't like the arena. Just ask their best player, Deron Williams, what he thinks.
