Fourth Person Sought in Beating of Man Lured to Wyckoff School

Wyckoff police are seeking a fourth suspect in the beating and robbing of a man who was allegedly lured to Lincoln Elementary School last Thursday night by his former girlfriend.

Police also arrested a third person in the incident. Samer Saleh, 25, of Waldwick was charged with robbery, theft and causing serious bodily injury with a baseball bat or pipe, Police Chief Benjamin Fox said.

Police believe Saleh was part of a group of three men who set upon the victim after he was lured to the school by his former girlfriend, Margaux Tocci, 19, at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Tocci had asked her former boyfriend to drive around in her new car, police said, and, once the two arrived at the Lincoln School, she suggested they take a walk.

Tocci then watched as the men beat the victim, took his wallet, removed the cash and smashed his cellphone, police said. They drove away in Tocci's car, leaving the victim bleeding on the ground, police said.

The victim, who walked to a nearby house on Lucas Lane to seek help, was taken to a local hospital. …
