* Ani Sarkisian is known for scoring goals and a repertoire of dazzling offensive moves. But the Cresskill senior did something she'd never done before on a soccer field against Lyndhurst on Friday. She played goalie.

Cresskill goalkeeper Caitlyn Higgins was shaken up in a collision with Lyndhurst midfielder Amanda Nowak as both tried to beat each other to a 50-50 ball near the top of the box late in the first half. Higgins barely won, but paid the price. Cresskill coach Jorge Tuesta went onto the field to check on Higgins before the referee gave him permission, which meant Higgins had to come out of the game. Sarkisian did a wardrobe change, putting on Higgins' goalie jersey and gloves.

Her only action was to take a goal kick. Lyndhurst didn't attempt a shot during her two minutes in goal.
